GEORGE H. HILL
CHAIRMAN AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
George H. Hill, Chairman & CEO of Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc., is a native Detroiter. He attended Cass Technical High School and Wayne State University where he received a B.A. in Political Science in 1962 and did graduate work in Political Science, Business and Law. He began his career at Michigan Bell Telephone in their marketing department and held several positions thereafter as an employment manager and a manager of commercial accounts. In 1968, he joined Chrysler Corporation as a labor relations specialist and stayed in the human resource function in management development and recruitment until 1971 when he went into business with a long-time school and college friend. Because of his position in Detroit’s black community, his exposure to the media while at Michigan Bell, and his knowledge of employment problems, George was approached by Detroit’s W.J.B.K. TV, a CBS affiliate, to host Job Opportunity Line in 1968. It was the first instance of a Black person on a regularly scheduled TV show in the Detroit area.
George Hill and his partner started Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc., a manufacturer of specialty chemicals, in 1970, in the back of George’s home in Detroit, Michigan. After many years in business together, George is now sole proprietor of Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc. The parent company is comprised of three operating companies: Adhesive Systems, Inc., Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc. and Paperworks, Inc. The facilities consist of three plants located in Detroit and Highland Park, Michigan.

George is married to Kathleen and between them, they have six children and eight grandchildren.
KARL C. JOHNSON JR
PRESIDENT & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Karl C. Johnson Jr is a career commercial and investment banker having worked for multiple international financial institutions during his 20 year career. Subsequent to his banking career, Karl ran a start-up technology company that developed low precious metal automotive catalytic converter formulations, as well as co-leading an engineering team in the development of an ultrasonic diesel engine fuel injection technology. Recently Karl has been actively involved with a number of private equity firms and independent sponsor groups by providing M&A buy-side advisory services and capital raising advisory services. He is currently CFO of Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc., a specialty chemical manufacturing company focused on packaging adhesives, industrial solvents, cleaners, lubricants, and MRO supply distribution. Mr. Johnson has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University and a Master of Business Administrations from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Business.
VICE PRESIDENT - SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Jerone Chambers, Vice President - Sales & Business Development for Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc., was born & raised in West Chester, PA. He is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Here at DCT, Jerone is responsible for creating the pathways for innovation to make an impact, through his passion for finding the balance in People, Process, and Partnership.
Jerone started his career in Kansas City, MO in the Adhesives Industry as a Technical Service engineer for National Starch & Chemicals Adhesives division (now Henkel), supporting a sales team that covered the Midwest. Later, he relocating to Dallas, TX as technical lead for the Construction Adhesives segment of Windows, Insulation, & Filters. In both roles, he worked every day directly with the line operators and manufacturing leaders within the customers’ plants to leverage his knowledge and deliver solutions that impact both the business and the people within those operations.
Jerone relocated back to the East Coast, continuing to put his industry experience to work on Process Improvement, becoming an ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt. For several years, he lead & consulted on projects externally for customers and executed projects internally within the Pressure Sensitive, Paper Converting, and Food & Beverage Packaging adhesive segments. Following his time in project management & cross-functional leadership, he led the technical lab & field teams designing product evaluation, contributing to product innovation, and supporting global product procurement strategy.
Following his career in technical & business development, Jerone transitioned into a focus on Sales Leadership path through growth & development of Key Accounts & Strategic Partnership management. Prior to joining DCT, he led the Distribution business for Henkel’s North American Industrial Adhesives segment focusing on creating growth & sales channel diversity through strategic, partnership.
FRED F. SANSOM
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
Fred F. Sansom is an operations leader with 40 years of experience (US and abroad) in batch and continuous manufacturing plant operations, power generation, process engineering, and capital project management.
Fred earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He has worked for a number of large and medium-sized domestic and multi-national manufacturing companies. Currently, he is Sr. Vice President of Operations for Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc., a Detroit-based, minority-owned manufacturer of packaging adhesives, automotive adhesives, metal working fluids, and industrial cleaners.
VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Dylan Hill is VP of HR for Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc. (DCT). His goals and aspirations are to promote, enhance, and support all aspects of HR functions. This mainly encompasses recruiting and retaining employees needed to get the job done right. He is proud to have helped create the HR Department for Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc. He has had the pleasure to work with and support the Detroit community for over 20 years. Dylan has a special affinity to Wayne State University, where he achieved a BA in Political Science and a MA in Industrial Relations.
